cXm Professionals Association (CXMPA) welcomes contributions that advance practical knowledge across the customer communications profession. Our community includes professionals and practitioners who design, develop, govern, produce, and manage customer documents, communications, and communication experiences across every stage of the Communications Systems Development Lifecycle and the production operational workflows that support them. We welcome perspectives from enterprise organizations, service providers, technology partners, consultants, educators, and industry practitioners.
What We Publish
- Original industry articles and practitioner perspectives
- Implementation lessons, case studies, and operational guidance
- Research, analysis, frameworks, and professional-development resources

What We Look For
Strong submissions are useful beyond the submitting organization and help readers understand an issue, make a decision, or improve an operation. CXMPA prioritizes:
- Practical industry knowledge and meaningful professional experience
- Technically accurate information and attributable sources
- Clear explanations of complex topics
- Balanced discussion of operational realities, governance requirements, and tradeoffs
- Educational value for practitioners across enterprise, service-provider, and technology-provider environments
Our editorial standard
Teach, do not simply sell. Expertise may demonstrate the value of an organization, solution, or approach, but editorial content should not read as an advertisement, product brochure, or unsupported promotional claim.
Editorial and Industry Perspective Content
Editorial content should address an industry issue, challenge, development, or opportunity and provide analysis, lessons, or practical guidance. Product, company, or platform references are appropriate when they directly support the educational discussion rather than dominate it.
Sponsor and Industry News
CXMPA may also distribute press releases, product announcements, company news, event announcements, research reports, case studies, sponsor resources, and links to externally published material. These items may be labeled as sponsor news, industry news, announcements, submitted resources, or promotional content rather than independent editorial analysis.
Sponsorship, membership, advertising, or another commercial relationship does not guarantee editorial publication, favorable coverage, featured placement, or editorial endorsement.
Originality, Rights, and Previous Publication
Contributors must disclose whether submitted material:
- Has been published previously or submitted to another publication
- Is subject to an exclusivity, embargo, or republication restriction
- Is adapted from another article, presentation, report, or resource
- Includes material owned by an employer, client, publisher, or other third party
Previously published ideas may be considered when the contributor has the necessary rights and the CXMPA submission provides distinct value for our practitioner audience. CXMPA will not knowingly reproduce content controlled by another publisher or copyright holder without appropriate authorization.
How CXMPA May Use Submitted Content
Contributors retain ownership of their original work. By submitting content, contributors give CXMPA ongoing permission to publish, promote, archive, excerpt, summarize, adapt, cite, and incorporate the material into CXMPA-controlled publications and educational resources.
This may include use in:
- The CXMPA website, newsletters, email communications, and social channels
- The association’s industry content repository and member-resource libraries
- The EDBOK and other knowledge bases or Bodies of Knowledge
- Learning management systems, educational courses, and professional-development resources
- Certification preparation and supporting educational materials
- Webinars, conferences, presentations, session resources, and curated collections
- Future articles, reports, research, citations, summaries, and instructional adaptations
No additional royalty, licensing fee, or other compensation is owed for these uses unless CXMPA and the contributor enter into a separate written agreement.
Full legal terms
The complete license, contributor representations, responsibilities, and other governing provisions are contained in the CXMPA Contributor Terms and Content License.
Editorial Review and Publication Decisions
Submission does not guarantee publication. CXMPA may evaluate, edit, schedule, decline, remove, archive, or discontinue content at its discretion. Editorial review may address clarity, length, structure, grammar, accessibility, accuracy, consistency, search visibility, association terminology, promotional tone, and legal or reputational risk.
CXMPA may also change titles and summaries, add contextual notes or disclosures, create promotional copy and graphics, convert content to another format, request supporting evidence, or adapt material for educational use. Material changes to an attributed feature article will normally be coordinated with the contributor when practical.
Accuracy, Corrections, and Attribution
Contributors remain responsible for the accuracy, originality, permissions, and integrity of their submissions. Sources and quotations should be accurately attributed, and confidential, proprietary, client-restricted, or regulated information must not be submitted without authorization.
CXMPA will generally identify the original contributor when publishing editorial or educational content. Attribution may include the contributor’s name, designation, role, organization, biography, photograph, LinkedIn profile, or organization website. The form and placement of attribution may vary by format and use.
Artificial Intelligence Disclosure
Contributors should disclose material use of generative artificial intelligence, particularly when AI has been used to generate substantial content, research, factual claims, images, quotations, case studies, statistics, citations, or synthetic voice or likeness.
AI-assisted editing, outlining, grammar correction, and formatting do not necessarily disqualify a submission. The contributor remains responsible for originality, factual accuracy, rights clearance, and meaningful human review.
