EDP remains the home for document systems development, composition, production operations, accessible document practices, output management, print and digital delivery, archiving and postal optimization.

EDA and M-EDP are designations within the EDP discipline. M-EDP holders must maintain the underlying EDP certification.

EDP discipline

One certification with two related designations.

EDA and M-EDP have distinct eligibility and award requirements. They are not separate professional certification disciplines alongside EDP, CCMP and CXMP.

Valid for five years and not renewable. It provides an entry point into the EDP program.

EDP candidates select either the portfolio or online-evaluation assessment path and recertify every five years.

Recognizes substantial professional experience and industry contribution within the EDP discipline.

Every five years

Maintain EDP certification

Earn 150 recertification credits, including at least 50 education credits and 50 knowledge-sharing credits, and reaffirm the CXMPA Certified Professionals Code of Ethics.
